I'M MANDIE
A wandering New Englander living in the mountains of Colorado Springs, in love with love. With over fifteen years of photography experience, I still get a butterfly feeling when I sit down to edit or show up to shoot. Documenting time as it passes during the most monumental times of your life is what makes my blood pump. Obsessed with all things vintage, all things posh, all things whimsical; you have found your new photographer best friend. I want your photos to feel like a warm cup of tea on a drizzly day.

A keen eye that frames each moment with intent.
Let's face it, anything can happen on a wedding day. It could downpour on your cocktail hour, a dress might not zip like it is supposed to, a groomsmen could have a few too many and rip his pants on the dance floor. My job is to photograph life as it happens, without intrusion, with heartfelt intent. That way when you get your photos back, you relive moments you forgot even happened. And relive them with joy.
Photography that is inspired by oil paintings and books, over Pinterest and mimicking.
At the beginning of 2025, I made a commitment to my clients and myself to run my business like it is 1995. This means focusing on face-to-face connections, shooting more analog film, researching films, reading fantasy books and studying paintings and art over doom scrolling.
I thrift vintage photo albums for my couples and handwrite love letters when all is said and done.
Most importantly, I have a strict no AI commitment. Every image is hand edited by yours truly and I would rather use the world around me to inspire me.
