When I dreamt of this styled shoot for my girls on my Ireland retreat, I wanted it to be remeniscent of times gone by, not your typical modern couples session on a cliff edge somewhere. When it all came together on this day and all my hard work paid off, I felt so happy I could have grown wings and flown away.

When I design my shoots, I make sure to keep them as local as possible. I love contributing to local Irish vendors and even found this real couple in a Galway group. Alanna and Finnán were so truly in love, so happy to be with us on a beautiful June day and absolutely gorgeous to boot.

With a vintage car, this shoot has World War two style vibes (which in my opinon was the best time for fashion) but with the juxtoposition of a crumbling Abbey we just happened to stumble upon. Our castle, Shrule Castle- was located across from Gibbons pub as well, who opened the doors for us, poured us a pint and thought we were all filming a movie. This shoot might still be the talk of the town today.

Major thanks to my favorite florist Niamh, from Keane's Florist. I have used her twice now for two bouquets and each one took my breath away! And cheers to my favorite Galway film lab; Wonder Photo Shop, for their same day scans!
